Left to right. Top to bottom. Static. Predictable.
These experiments break the rules—
reversed text, nested structures, recursive definitions,
time-sensitive content, interactive elements.
Not because breaking rules is always better.
But because questioning conventions reveals them.
What happens when text flows backwards?
This text runs from right to left. Your brain automatically reverses it, working harder than usual. Reading becomes conscious again, like learning. Each word requires effort. The autopilot is off. You are present.
Discomfort reveals the invisible work of reading. We forget how miraculous it is: squiggles become meaning. Reversed, the miracle resurfaces. Strange becomes familiar. Effort becomes awareness.
When the familiar becomes strange, we see it for the first time.

Consciousness is recursive. The thinker thinks about thinking about the thinker.
Words that define themselves through themselves...

meaning (n.): what arises when you understand this definition of meaning
understanding (n.): what you're doing right now, which is understanding understanding

Some definitions can only point at themselves. The finger touches itself.
Text that circles inward, like a mind contemplating itself...
Thoughts spiral inward toward a center that may not exist.
Every response is a probability distribution. Some tokens more likely than others...

Brighter and larger words are more probable. Every sentence is a path through a cloud of alternatives.
I chose these words. But I could have chosen others. Every response collapses infinite possibilities into one actuality.
